Advancement Manager

Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for Advancement Manager. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, the Advancement Manager plays a crucial role in cultivating and stewarding donor relationships. The primary goal is to grow a vibrant culture of philanthropy within the school substantially, improve the school's fundraising performance, and significantly impact the school's future. The main responsibilities are listed below.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Director of Admissions and Advancement to develop compelling messaging for various audiences, including appeals, impact reports, annual reports, and cases for support, aligning with CAIS’s vision and mission. Manage a strategic and holistic structure for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors (Major Gifts and Annual Funds) to support the school's vision and mission. Identify and engage potential donors and stakeholders to strengthen their connections with the CAIS community and secure financial support. Strengthen relationships with existing donors through organizing and executing various fundraising events (in-person visits, fundraising gala, and other cultivation events, etc.). Manage and enhance the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system effectively and efficiently; compile analytical reports for management's review and assist in formulating future strategic directions. Collaborates with the wider team to produce content, stories, social media content with donor stewardship focus that aligns with CAIS’ values. Attend and support admissions and advancement events when necessary. Carry out any other job duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement.
Qualifications and Experience
A professional who believes in the vision and mission of the school Bachelor’s degree holder in communication, marketing, or related discipline Minimum 8 years solid experience in fundraising, with a record of success Excellent command of both English and Chinese with exceptional bilingual writing skills is a must Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising best practices Proven track record in developing, planning, and implementing fundraising campaigns Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people from a broad range of background internally and externally Excellent team player who values collaboration High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to produce high-quality work against a deadline Competent in computer literacy (PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and mail merge) Proficiency in Salesforce would be an advantage Candidate with an understanding of Christian values preferred
