Advancement Officer / Senior Advancement Officer

Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for the position of Advancement Officer / Senior Advancement Officer. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, the Advancement Officer / Senior Advancement Officer collaborates with a dynamic team to support the school's marketing, communications, community engagement, and fundraising functions. The officer's responsibilities are listed below.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in organizing engagement activities for internal and external stakeholders to enhance the school's visibility in the local and global community.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing, key cultivation, and stewardship events.
  • Assist in the production of school communication and marketing materials that resonate with the school's vision and mission.
  • Implement initiatives to engage the school's alumni community and strengthen their connection to the school.
  • Maintain data on the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system and help generate monthly reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider advancement team.
  • Attend and support admissions and advancement events as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ solid experience in communications and event management, preferably in education and NGO field
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work with people from a broad range of background internally and externally
  • Well organized and result-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in MS Office and knowledge in Adobe suite
  • A professional who believes in the mission of the school
  • Candidate with an understanding of Christian values preferred
