Digital & Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Advancement, the Digital and Graphic Designer is responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that engage and inspire our diverse community of students, parents, and educators. This role involves working collaboratively with various stakeholders and is instrumental in promoting our school's vision and mission while reinforcing our dynamic brand identity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create compelling visual materials to support the school's marketing and fundraising campaigns. This includes print and digital media such as brochures, newsletters, posters, banners, social media graphics, and short videos. Maintain and elevate the visual brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communication channels and commitment to excellence. Work closely with the Admissions and Advancement Team, as well as other school departments, to conceptualize and execute design solutions that meet their specific needs. Manage multiple design and printing projects from initial concept to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints. Organize and manage digital assets efficiently, ensuring easy access and systematic organization of graphic files. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure high-quality outputs and timely delivery of materials. Collaborate with external vendors to produce marketing videos and support video production for school marketing initiatives. Assist in photo-taking or taking reels or shorts for school promotional use. Attend and support admissions and advancement events where appropriate and needed. Carry out any other job duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Advancement.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in multimedia or online design, preferably in an educational or multicultural environment. A compelling portfolio that showcases your design prowess across various projects, particularly in marketing and educational initiatives. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with web design tools. Experience in photography and video production would be a plus. Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Creative talent with a good eye for aesthetics, passionate about visual communication and user experience. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to thrive in a multicultural collaborative environment. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A professional who believes in the vision and mission of the school. A commitment to working within a Christian values-based environment is preferred.
